Saudi Arabia and the Secretary of the United Nations welcome the Gaza ceasefire agreement

Saudi Arabia and United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres welcomed the Gaza ceasefire agreement.

Saudi Arabia praised the mediation efforts of Qatar, Egypt and the United States and said that the agreement should be implemented to end the Israeli aggression against Gaza.

United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres, while reacting to the ceasefire agreement, said that the ceasefire will remove the obstacles in the way of aid.

The ceasefire agreement will exchange prisoners on both sides, now priority should be given to reducing suffering, during the 15-month war, 2.3 million people of Gaza were displaced several times.

United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres added that the humanitarian situation in Gaza is catastrophic, and the Palestinians are ready to step up aid.
