The Meteorological Department has predicted severe cold weather in most parts of the country and snowfall in the upper regions.

According to weather forecasters, the weather is likely to be cold and dry in most parts of the country tonight, while it is likely to remain very cold in the mountainous areas.

Most districts of Punjab, Upper Sindh and plains of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are also expected to experience moderate to heavy fog.

Meanwhile, light rain and snowfall may occur at few places in Kashmir and adjoining hilly areas.
