ISLAMABAD:

Senator Faisal Vawda stated on Thursday that after January 20, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) would adopt a conciliatory tone while the government will maintain a rigid stance in negotiations.

Speaking on a private TV programme, the former federal minister remarked that if Imran Khan is convicted, PTI will criticise the government. He also emphasised the need to end the use of “religious card” in politics.

Senator Vawda maintained that Bushra Bibi is currently overseeing PTI’s internal affairs.

He termed the claims of meeting between PTI’s Ali Amin Gandapur and army chief as baseless.

Vawda said he believed negotiations will begin after January 20.
