Heavy fog rule in Punjab, motorways closed from various places

Most of the areas of Punjab were engulfed in heavy fog, the motorways were closed for traffic from various places.

According to the spokesperson of the Motorway Police, due to heavy fog at various places, Motorway M4 from Abdul Hakeem to Multan and Motorway M5 from Multan were closed for all traffic till Thursday.

Motorways are closed to ensure public safety and safe travel, citizens should travel at maximum hours of the day, contact helpline 130 for information and assistance.

The spokesman further said that people should avoid unnecessary travel, avoid speeding and keep proper distance from the next vehicle, drivers should use fog lights.
