
Gold Rate in Pakistan on Jan 22 Up by Rs4,250 to Rs287,450 per Tola
ISLAMABAD: The price of 24-karat gold increased by Rs4,250, reaching Rs287,450 per tola on Wednesday compared to Rs283,200 on the previous trading day, as reported by the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.
The price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold also rose by Rs3,642, closing at Rs246,440 from the prior rate of Rs242,798. Similarly, 10 grams of 22-karat gold climbed to Rs225,911 from Rs222,565.
Silver prices witnessed an upward trend, with per tola silver increasing by Rs59.40 to Rs3,431, while the rate for 10 grams rose by Rs51.50 to Rs2,941.
In the international market, gold prices surged by $40, reaching $2,751 from the previous rate of $2,711, according to the association.
