Memorandum of understanding of 24 agreements and cooperation was signed in Pakistan and Turkey. Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Turkish President signed the agreements and MoUs.

The signing ceremony was held in Islamabad which was attended by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdo ۔an, the ministers of the two countries, including trade and concerned officers.

The documents were also exchanged after signing agreements and MoUs, after which the Pakistani and Turkish ministers of each ministry exchanged documents for agreements and MoUs.

The agreements include further strengthening strategic relations, the exchange of military and civilian personnel on a social and cultural basis, training and cooperation agreements in the field of Air Force Electronic Warfare and Military Health.

In addition, agreements were also signed regarding hydrocarbons, mining, energy sector cooperation, trade certificate verification digitization, agricultural seeds, water sector and industrial property. Export Credit Bank Turkey and Export Bank Pakistan The agreement between the Halal Accreditation Authority, cooperation under the Halal Accreditation Authority, also reached other important agreements, including technical support in the field of health and pharmaceuticals.

Speaking on the occasion, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that Tayyab Erdo ۔an welcomed Pakistan arriving, brotherly relations between Pakistan and Turkey are established, hopefully the Turkish President’s visit will be very useful.

Shahbaz Sharif further said that Turkey stood together with Pakistan, Turkey always supported Pakistan’s position on Kashmir issue, our position on Gaza is clear.

He said that a sustainable partnership between Pakistan and Turkey is further promoting, brotherly relations between the two countries are touching new heights, Pakistan will always support Turkey’s position on the grave issue.

The Prime Minister said that Pakistani security forces are trying to fight terrorism, terrorists are using Afghan soil for blasphemous ambitions.

Addressing the ceremony, Turkish President Tayyip Erdo ۔an said that Pakistan is our second home, Quaid -e -Azam and Allama Iqbal are also our heroes. We have agreed to strengthen bilateral relations.

The Turkish President said that the two countries discussed the $ 5 billion trade volume, working to further strengthen relations.

Tayyab Erdo ۔an said that Pakistan has made many sacrifices in the fight against terrorism, both Pakistan and Turkey are great nations, the scholarship project for Pakistani students will continue.

He said that Turkey supports the Pakistani stance on occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Israeli actions against Palestinians are condemnable. We will continue to work together to establish an independent Palestinian state.
