
After Azerbaijan, PM Shehbaz arrives in Uzbekistan on official visit

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Tashkent, Uzbekistan for a two-day official visit, where he was received by Uzbek Prime Minister Abdulla Nigmatovich Aripov.
During his visit, Shehbaz will hold bilateral talks with Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, focusing on connectivity, trade, investment, energy, defence, regional stability, and education. The two leaders will also exchange views on regional and international matters of mutual interest.
Officials have confirmed that multiple agreements and memorandums of understanding (MoUs) will be signed to strengthen bilateral cooperation.
PM Shehbaz will also address the Pakistan-Uzbekistan Business Forum, where top business leaders from both countries will participate in B2B meetings to explore trade opportunities.
Upon his arrival, the PM visited the Independence Monument in Tashkent, where he laid a floral wreath as a gesture of respect.
