BUCHIANA:

A man, along with his brother, allegedly murdered his wife and two young daughters in the Lundianwala area of Faisalabad on Friday.

Taking notice of the crime, City Police Officer (CPO) Faisalabad Sahibzada Bilal Umar has sought a detailed report from SP Jaranwala and ordered the immediate arrest of the suspects.

Police said the triple murder took place in Chak 632 GB, a village near Buchiana.

The victims, 25-year-old Iram Bibi and her two daughters — two-year-old Fatima and five-year-old Kiran — were sleeping at home when they were killed with a sharp-edged weapon late at night.

Upon receiving the report, SSP Investigation Faisalabad, SP Jaranwala Zia-ul-Haq, DSP Jaranwala, and SHO Lundianwala Haq Nawaz, along with a heavy police contingent, arrived at the crime scene.

During the inspection, it was discovered that the victim’s husband, Ibrahim, and his brother, Ismail, were missing from the scene, leading authorities to suspect their involvement.

Police sources confirm that the triple murder was carried out by Ibrahim and his brother Ismail. Teams have been formed to track down the accused, and their arrest is expected soon.

Meanwhile, the bodies of the mother and daughters have been taken into police custody and shifted to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, Jaranwala, for further legal formalities.

CPO Faisalabad has instructed SP Jaranwala to submit a detailed investigation report on the case. A special team, led by SP Zia-ul-Haq, has been tasked with conducting the inquiry and ensuring swift justice. According to the police spokesperson, the suspects will be apprehended soon and brought to justice.
