Actor Sajid Hassan alleges son coerced into making false statement

KARACHI:

Actor Sajid Hassan has alleged that his son was coerced into giving a false statement in the Mustafa Amir murder case. He claimed that this was not the first time his family had faced such an ordeal, as a similar attempt was made four years ago. Hassan believes that his son is being manipulated as part of a well-planned conspiracy.

In an interview with The , Hassan said that his son’s statement was extracted forcibly and that a similar incident had occurred four years ago. He recalled the date of the previous incident and mentioned that he had emerged victorious in the case.

Hassan expressed suspicions about the police’s role in the case from day one, alleging that they had distorted the facts and created a false narrative. He questioned who was truly responsible for Mustafa Amir’s murder, suggesting that influential individuals may be involved.

Hassan described his son, Sahir, as being like an elder brother to Mustafa Amir, who had wanted to see the perpetrators brought to justice. He said that Sahir was paying a heavy price for his desire to see justice served.

Hassan raised questions about police’s actions, asking how they had entered his home without a search warrant and why they had assumed Sahir’s involvement.

Furthermore, Hassan expressed his conviction that Armaghan was not the killer but rather a scapegoat in a larger conspiracy. He stated that Armaghan and his family were facing not only emotional distress but also threats to their safety and lives.
