Punjab Assembly, Punjab Local Government Amendment Bill 2025

The Punjab Assembly has approved the Punjab Local Government Amendment Bill 2025 and the Punjab Gadagari (Amendment) Bill 2025, the bill will be sent to Governor Punjab for approval.

The amendments approved by the relevant committee were also rejected by the government.

Mujtaba Shuja rejected the amendments approved by the committee as amendments to the opposition, on which the opposition shouted and demanded that the committee be brought to the meeting.
