An explosion in an oil tanker near Karachi Airport, several people were injured

Karachi: Several people were injured in a loud explosion near the airport in Shahr Quaid.

According to the police, there was an explosion in an oil tanker near the airport. Whose voice was heard far and wide. After the explosion, fear spread in the area. Due to the explosion, nearby vehicles caught fire.

Several people including Rangers personnel were also injured in the explosion who were shifted to a nearby hospital.

Immediately after the blast, police, rangers and rescue teams reached the spot. The roads leading to the airport were immediately closed. Fire brigade vehicles reached the spot and extinguished the fire.

Police say that an investigation has been started into the nature of the explosion.
