Fethullah Gulen

Fethullah Gulen, a prominent religious leader and critic of Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan’s government, died in the United States at the age of 83.

A close source confirmed on social media website X that Fethullah Gulen had been ill for some time and died in the same hospital last night.

Fethullah Gulen came from a religious family, his father was a mosque imam while his mother taught children the Qur’an, he studied at a madrasah and began his career as a mosque imam and preacher.
