The government has announced the new prices of petroleum products for the next 15 days.
The price of petrol per liter has been increased by one rupee 35 paise while the price of diesel has been increased by three rupees 85 paise per liter.

The new price of petrol is 248 rupees 38 paise while the new price of diesel is 255 rupees 14 paise per litre. The new prices will be applicable from November 1 to November 15. Ogra has issued a notification of new prices.
On the other hand, crude oil production in the country has increased on a weekly basis while gas production has recorded a decrease.

According to PPIS and industry data, the country’s average daily crude oil production for the week ended October 23 was recorded at 64,467 barrels, up 2 percent from the previous week. 63194 barrels were recorded.
In the week ending October 23, the average daily production of gas in the country was recorded at 2694 mmcfd, which is 3% less than the previous week. Average daily gas production in the country was recorded at 2776 mmcfd in the continuous week.
