Jahangir Tareen’s announcement to buy Rs 400 per maund from farmers

The former chairman of the Stabilization Pakistan Party, Jahangir Tareen, has announced to buy 400 rupees per maund from the farmers.

In one of his statements, he said that protecting the rights of farmers is the first priority, if the farmer is prosperous, then the country will be prosperous.

It should be noted that the family’s relations are with the most important political families of southern Punjab and Sindh. He is the son-in-law of the Makhdooms of Rahim Yar Khan and the in-laws of the Geelanis of Multan and the Pagadas of Sindh.

Jehangir Khan Tareen’s cousin Humayun Akhtar Khan and his brother relative Makhdoom Ahmad Mahmood are also active in politics.
