CURRENT STANDINGS

Qatar are currently in second place in the T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier B with eight points from there four wins. As the top two teams in the table move on to the T20 World Cup Asia–East Asia-Pacific Regional Final, Qatar needed to win Monday’s game to keep Bahrain, who are in third place with four points, from taking second.

Only two games remain for both Qatar and Bahrain. In order for Bahrain to take the second spot, they would need to win their next two games, while Qatar lost theirs, and have a better net run rate. The Untied Arab Emirates are currently in first place having won all four of their matches and having the best net run rate in the group.

The UAE play Qatar on Tuesday in a match that will decide who takes first place.
